So, you could take an airport shuttle from DIA and skip the rental car. It’s packed with interesting stores and restaurants, making Breckenridge, Colorado, a great place to pass a sunny day. Or week. The town sits 9,600 feet above sea level, below Breckenridge Ski Resort. This Colorado ski resort draws visitors from across the globe for its amazing ski runs and great snow fall. The diversity of terrain welcomes beginners through advanced skiers. Meanwhile, its average of 300 inches of snow each year make it a reliable ski vacation destination.
There’s always something exciting going on with an abundance of unique, family-friendly events. Professional or semi-pro winter sporting events like the Dew Tour provide great spectator opportunities. In contrast, holiday events like Mardi Gras or the Lighting of Breckenridge invite participants to join in the holiday festivities. Summer in the Kingdom
Don’t think of summer as the “off season” in Breckenridge. True, there’s no skiing (usually), but other activities are easily as fun. The area is paradise for year-round visitors looking for incredible biking, fishing, hiking, sightseeing and more. Sunny days, mild temperatures and summer wildflowers ensure a beautiful backdrop for any outdoor activity. The Breckenridge Music Festival presents major concerts throughout the summer.
