Copper Mountain, Colorado Visitor Info
Copper Mountain, Colorado’s biggest appeal is incredible skiing and snowboarding. But the resort’s assortment of year-round events and activities is an undeniable draw. Colorado vacation visitors looking for outdoor activities – summer or winter – will find their heart’s desire at Copper Mountain.
The activities at Copper Mountain are diverse but most are outdoors and all are appealing to adventurous and athletic types. Wintertime offers skiing and snowboarding, of course. But there’s also horse drawn sleigh rides, zip lines, snowmobiles and dog sledding nearby. There are also free concerts and skiing competitions that provide fun spectator opportunities.
In the summer, you can’t beat Copper Mountain’s scenery. Take the chairlift to the top of the mountain for hiking or mountain biking – and enjoy mountain vistas and blooming wildflowers while you’re at it! You might want a true Colorado experience and take a tour of some nearby mines. Check out all the Copper Mountain activities here. Many tours and activities provide pickup and drop-off. So you might not need a rental car if you take an airport shuttle from DIA.
Looking for something to do indoors? Train rides provide great adventures and scenery while keeping you warm and dry. Summit County’s plentiful escape rooms are challenging, fun for all ages and indoors. Meanwhile, a popular adult only activity is the Summit County Brewery Tour.
Woodward & ParkBoard Training Facilities
